Great experience, good food and atmosphere, the chef told us what we were going to eat in a very convincing way. He did not disappoint either, if you’re in the area I’d advise to take a stop at this local restaurant for good Czech food and good fun.

Amazing food and atmosphere. This is how Czech food should taste. The chef is very friendly and chatty! I’m going there again before I go back to the U.S.

Overrated restaurant and ordinary Czech cuisine. The owner/chef was friendly, however Svíčková was ok not the best and they didn't have any traditional soups just ordinary beef broths. Their lemonades were too sweet. Their large tree in the garden is infested with tiny black worm like animals that fall on you when it's a bit windy. We were covered but only noticed when we left and so we didn't complain. They also don't accept cards and you can't take a dog into their garden.

This salmon steak was amazing. It was medium rare. The restaurant has a French provincial look with a homy feel about it. The food has great presentation and tastes even better with a feeling of home. I would definitely recommend it.

Super nice restaurant, familiar with phenomenal food, fair prices and special service by the chef Václav Frič. Located in a small town and a little far from Prague, so frequented basically by locals. Super recommended. Recommended to reserve. No credit or debit card are accepted.

We came here because of the Mark Wiens video, which of course left us with super high expectations. Mr Frič and his staff did not disappoint. I had the special of day (beef ribs with coleslaw and their homemade bread) and my wife had the goose with sauerkraut and dumplings. Both were amazing as was their beer. It’s probably one of the best Czech restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.

Great little local secret outside of Prague. The chef is so welcoming and went out of this way to make sure we had the best experience of his food. The Duck is absolutely amazing and we got to try all the Czech desserts too. I would definitely go again.
