★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zdejší sídlo Církve československé husitské je bývalou židovskou synagogou postavenou v roce 1858 na místě starší synagogy z první poloviny 19. století, ale i té předcházela ještě starší modlitebna. Pozdně klasicistní budova měla prostorný, vysoký sál a galerii pro ženy. V roce 1933 prošla rekonstrukcí. Náboženským účelům pak sloužila až do nacistické okupace. Židovská komunita v Novém Strašecí přestala existovat po roce 1940.
The local seat of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church is a former Jewish synagogue built in 1858 on the site of an older synagogue from the first half of the 19th century, but that object was also preceded by even older prayer house. The late Classicist building had a spacious, tall hall and a gallery for women. In 1933 it underwent reconstruction. It then served religious purposes until the Nazi occupation. The Jewish community in Nové Strašecí ceased to exist after 1940.
