★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Náměsti 14. října or the 14 of October Square is just a block back from the Wenceslas Church and about 2 blocks from Anděl. It has a small concrete structure in the middle which last year (2019) during a city-wide street art festival, was decorated with this colorful purple paint and dressed up with the flower painting. Now in the spring, with the tulips and daffodils blooming, it really makes the place come alive. There are benches which line the small square, making it a favorite place to read the newspaper in the morning or relax during a lunch break. In the winter there is a small ice skating rink to one side that is a favorite of the neighborhood's children.
