Plocha náměstí se dočkala revitalizace dlažby, nového mobiliáře, veřejného osvětlení, zeleně a také nové kašny, která nebude zabírat moc prostoru.
Ze stávající kašny se do depozitáře přestěhuje sochařsky pojatá plastika Květ autora Štěpána Mikuly z roku 1979.
Ale jen na čas, obvod ji totiž výhledově plánuje přemístit blíž k poliklinice.
Bylo zde vykáceno několik vzrostlých stomů a zůstala jen prázdná betonová plocha.
Dá se řící"Nic moc".
