About Nepal House Restaurant

We have established Nepal House for the first time in Prague, Czech Republic with an intent to introduce Nepal's vibrant culture and authentic taste. Our aim is to provide a platform for the needy, and especially for women. One of our intent is also to take part of our profit and provide education for needy children in Nepal. We would like for Nepali youths to view Nepal House, as a universal key to the relatively closed off global door, towards confidence in Nepal's rich taste.

One of the reasons that our food has not been introduced on an international platform is due to the political instability and intangible tourism policies.

That is why we have taken a baby step and established Nepal House. We positively believe that all of you will give us love, support, and encouragement. We trust that all our Nepal House friends and family will help us take Nepal House to a global platform.

P	Peer Funk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not a restaurant it is an experience. Its like coming to someones home. I have not been to the country nepal, but I feel like I have been there. Extremely good food. There is also a first floor available if the tables at the ground floor are full, but you have to be good on foot to go upstairs. Also - upstairs you sit on the floor which adds to the charm. Pretty amazing, have to recommend it to anyone who wants something more than just a good meal.

Overall nice home atmosphere. One thing I don’t understand. If I get the menu at the table, why the meal is not being served in same way but it’s placed at another table instead.

Absolutely authentic, tasty, cozy place and a must-visit if you love the Nepali cuisine or if you are up to an outstanding culinary experience. Five stars are not enough.

Me and my partner had two different types of chicken (can't remember which ones exactly) but we both loved it. At our first experience with Nepalese food, we were left very surprised and curious to try more. It is such a unique blend of herbs that every bite becomes a discovery. It is packed with flavours but is still balanced and almost delicate. The resturant is a typical family business with a cozy and warm atmosphere. And so were the owner and the young lady who served us. We had a delightful experience and would defintely come back if we visit Prague again.

They had a very cute dog, sadly it looked like he was sick but he let me pet him; he was just so cute! The food was just amazing!! This is my first time trying Nepali cuisine and I fell in love with the food!! I tried the vegan steamed momo; it was just so delicious, there are not many vegan restaurants here and especially ones that cook so this well!! The taste is incomparable to anything else. The owner was a very kind and warm lady; an outstanding woman to manage everything by herself. I recommend this place!

Want to taste real #nepali-food in Prague, very much recommended... I'll recommend to sit on upper floor. We ate Thakali dish, it was awesome. I felt eating at my homeland ???. The owner is a very friendly caring and intelligent Nepali woman, she knows how to cook, she chooses the right natural ingredients and fresh herbs to let you experience real Nepali food. The small family and cultural atmosphere is making it complete.
