Tato stezka nabídne velmi pěkné výhledy ... Turistická, žlutě značená, trasa stoupá od konce obce Žlutavy s rodinným rančem a zvířátky po zpevněné cestě mírně do kopce... a s každým přibývajícím výškovým metrem se nám při pohledu k východu (a zpět) otevírá čím dál úchvatnější panoráma kraje. Tuto nejvýchodnější část Moravy pokrývá horstvo Bílých Karpat, jejichž mohutný hřeben vyplňuje celý východní obzor. Směrem k severovýchodu vidíme poslední výběžky Vizovických vrchů, spadajících u města Napajedla až k řece Moravě, pásmo kopců za nimi vlevo patří už Hostýnským vrchům. Když stočíme pohled zpět na cestu, upoutá nás v dálce zjevení, které by tady možná nikdo nečekal: ano, vážení, před námi se vypíná pravá a nefalšovaná písečná duna! Pokud jste předtím na farmě nepožili žádný alkohol a myslíte si, že ta fata morgána před vámi je jen odrazem té skutečné někde v Africe, mýlíte se. Duna je skutečná, moravská a naše... a její výskyt na okraji lesa nad pastvinami je zcela prozaický: je to "jen" výsypka z kamenolomu, který se nachází hned nad ní, ale který na dálku z cesty nevidíme... Pokud neodoláte "volání Afriky" a vyšplháte se z cesty na její vrchol, budete odměněni rozšířením viděného panorámatu až někam k Přerovu, neboť tento písečný kopec má od svého úpatí převýšení aspoň 20 metrů a výhled z něj už je téměř letecký! A když půjdete po jejím hřebeni dál, abyste z ní už mnohem mírnějším terénem sestoupili naproti žlutavskému kamenolomu, můžete si pak na ceduli přečíst, že je jste se dopustili přestupku, neboť je na ni přísný zákaz vstupu! (Ale za ten fajn rozhled to určitě stálo...)

This trail offers very nice views ... The tourist route, marked in yellow, rises from the end of the village of Žlutava with a family ranch and animals along a paved path slightly uphill ... and with each increasing altitude meter, looking to the east (and back) opens up an increasingly breathtaking panorama of the region. This easternmost part of Moravia is covered by the mountains of the White Carpathians, whose massive ridge fills the entire eastern horizon. Towards the northeast we see the last outcrops of the Vizovice Hills, which fall near the town of Napajedla to the river Moravia, the zone of hills behind them to the left belongs to the Hostýn Hills. When we turn our gaze back to the road, we are attracted in the distance by a revelation that no one here might expect: yes, my dear, a real and unadulterated sand dune rises in front of us! If you haven't consumed any alcohol on the farm before and you think that the mirage in front of you is just a reflection of the real one somewhere in Africa, you are wrong. The dune is real, Moravian and ours ... and its occurrence on the edge of the forest above the pastures is completely prosaic: it is "only" a dump from the quarry, which is located just above it, but which we do not see from a distance ... If you can't resist "Call of Africa" and you climb from the path to its top, you will be rewarded by expanding the seen panorama to somewhere in Přerov, because this sandy hill has an elevation of at least 20 meters from its foot and the view from it is almost aerial! And if you go further along its ridge to descend from it through much milder terrain opposite the Žlutava quarry, you can then read on the sign that you have committed a transgression, because there is a strict ban on entering it! (But it was definitely worth the good view ...)
