★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pokud budete vstupovat do historického centra města z východu, ihned poté, co projdete Pražskou bránou, si povšimnete krásného výrazného domu s předstupujícím podloubím a balkonem v patře stojícím mezi jižním cípem náměstí Míru a Svatováclavskou ulicí vedoucí k zámku. Velmi hodnotný čtyřkřídlý patrový dům gotického původu s řadou historických přestaveb (mimo jiné barokní či klasicistní) byl sjednocený stavebními úpravami v roce 1903, kdy dostal částečně novorenesanční vnější podobu.
