Food is ‘ok’ and the place is nice, but unfortunately the staff doesn’t seem to want to please the customer. One time, ordered a Pastel de Nata, asked for some cinnamon spice so I could put it on top, and the worker and the boss looked at me like like I was saying nonsense and refused to give me a little of cinnamon powder to put on my Pastel de Nata. I highly doubt that anyone at that restaurant is actually Portuguese. The only Portuguese thing about this place are the Portuguese products, which are imported. Another time, came to a Francesinha night and when asked to be seated the girl at the cash register told us “Sorry, everything is reserved” while two people just exited. This is not a way to treat a customer, if they were interested in customers they would suggest us to get take away, wait until there’s some free spots or just to come back another day when it isn’t so busy apparently. As a Portuguese citizen, I’m very disappointed.

The place is great for bigger groups. I liked the wine that I had very much and I also liked the relaxed atmosphere. When you visit the place, pay attention to small decorations inside, such as the map on the wall. It's possible to buy some products to take away, and also possible to pay with a card.

Cannot begin to describe how amazing the food was. Everything we tried was delicious, we couldn’t get enough. The carpaccio was great, first time I ever enjoyed a carpaccio. The bacalao dish was exquisite, the octopus was very good, the cheeses, the refreshing “green” wine. The pastel de nata was good too. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

Pastels de nata and bacalao croquettes in Prague, great Portuguese food

Exceptional! I liked everything about this place. 1) You can buy ingredients for Portuguese foods such as bacalhau, which is otherwise very hard to get in Prague. 2) The meals are only very lightly salted. Some might consider this a bad thing but I love it. When I eat out in Prague, I always have problem with excessive saltiness, which was not the case here. 3) The meals are absolutely delicious. We had 3 tapas, 1 soup and one complimentary side dish and we loved each and every one of them. 4) Staff is nice and friendly. 5) They had no issue to cater for special diets and food allergies. Which proves that the meals are freshly made and not just reheated. 6) Nice outside seating in lovely Vinohrady street.

Not the best place but has something nice. Staff is quite slow, food is quite expensive, wine is absolutely great. But still, we like to go there.
