One Club - Melantrichova 504/5

We have just had a very unpleasant experience in Club One, in the beautiful old town area of Prague. Myself and my friend arrived into the empty bar at 8pm on Sunday 20 February. We were immediately told there was a 300CZK minimum spend per visit. We agreed. We then ordered a G&T and a pint of Heineken. It turned out the "pint" of Heineken was actually a 350ml glass of NOT Heineken, but their ONLY other beer on draught - which was 1/4 foam. I asked for them to replace the foam with beer which got a very snide response. To meet their minimum 300CZK spend, we ordered two Baby Guinness shots before we left. Even these shots were majority head (Baileys) and air. When we questioned the bartender, he aggressively told us that in Czechia the rule is a shot is to be 0.5 and not full to the top. I then quipped and asked "Fine, is it okay if we only pay 0.5 of the bill?" At this point, the larger of the two barmen rushed to close the door. Then the weaker barmen snatched the card machine from my small female friend and told us to take our "attitude" elsewhere. My female friend felt very uncomfortable and unsafe in this situation. If you're visiting beautiful old town Prague, DO NOT VISIT CLUB ONE. Literally try anywhere else.

Me and my friend both from the uk visited one club about 3 times because the music was good and it was busy. However the bartenders are the rudest people We have ever met, we Odered the same round of drinks about 4 times and each time the price got expensiver and expensiver, the toilet was unisex and never got cleaned. It smelt so foul it was actually unbearable.

If you want to party there, book a table. The minimum spend is okey, the price of the bottle is normal but the price of the soft drinks is way too high. You can also order a shisha for a fare price. Most people there are men... If you're a smoker, the security guys do not make it easy for you to get out and then back in... As the other reviews... This is hilarious how the place is built so wrong, they really need to hire an architect or to find some common sense. The bar takes half of the space available in the club, therefore not much place to danse and reduced place at the VIP tables ? Bottom line, come with a good group of friend, be ready to pay for a table and you might have fun

The DJ ruins every classic song. One of the bartenders tries to juggle glasses, but drops a glass about once an hour, which then breaks. After several rounds of drinks, he wants 28 euros for 4 beers. On request that would be the normal price. Maybe he's trying to make up for the loss caused by his broken glasses...

They pay you with free shots to give them 5-star reviews. 100 Czk for 2 hours of free drinks is great though, besides from that it's a pretty standard club.

The songs are great to get you on your feet, the drinks are very good. They have lots of events throughout the week. Definitely one to go to if your up for a part!!

This is the most beloved place where I go. It doesn't matter if it's day or night. Because really good music, great drinks, friendly staff .. right in the heart of Prague. Absolutely YES

The menu says the cocktails are 370 for 2 glasses, but the waiter said the price for two cocktails was 400, so he looked at the board and talked about the problem. He said 380 again.
