Hello, we took part in four tours as part of this event. We consider the Černín and Thun Palace to be the best prepared and managed. In the first, we appreciated the exemplary organization: the service in each room gave a detailed explanation on request, so that individuals stayed where they were interested, and the group tour turned into an individual with willing and dedicated guides. The visitors proceeded at their own pace. A separate chapter was a meeting with the young minister and especially the rhododendron garden with beautiful trees. Thun Palace with the British Embassy impressed with its access to many rooms, the friendly reception in the places where we once stood at the window in a pleading lecture, and last but not least, Mr. Robert's comprehensive humorous explanation, who willingly answered all questions. We felt like a welcome visit. Thank you. What we definitely do not recommend is a paid "tour" of the Estates Theater. We were notified in advance of early arrival at 9:50, the guide arrived without apology at 10:07. In fact, we saw nothing but what we know from the show's visits. The main part took place in the auditorium and consisted of a forty-minute lecture on the history of the theater. It was actually a slightly expanded subject of high school Czech and history, while the teacher permanently scratched various parts of the body. Where are the times when we could see something from the backstage or the dressing room in the theaters (there were five of us!). So the next time you decide on a beneficial and excellent Open House event, choose carefully.
