The googel dot was not in the right place. Thus, most of the previous photos and recessions do not assess the current situation. The condition is still a shame, but nothing has been torn off. See also site map link association. Be sure to call up "Latest" for the latest photos.

Realmente surpreendeu!
He was hoping to visit the premises of an old factory, turned into a museum, telling the story of Schindler. I found a museum telling the history of Krakow, even before World War I, through the growth of Jewish people and culture, until the end of the War. You can see various weapons, uniforms and environments that recreate houses and shelters of the time. Really surprised!

Staré ustupuje novému. Ale tady se to nepodařilo. Staré zůstalo v podobě ruin. Mimochodem, jedná se o Löw-Beerovu textilní továrnu. Pouze v části areálu (severně, proti toku řeky Svitavy) byla v letech 1944-45 pobočka koncentračního tábora Groẞ Rosen, spravovaná O. Schindlerem.
The old gives way to the new. But it didn't work out here. The old one remained in the form of ruins. By the way, this is Löw-Beer's textile factory. Only in part of the area (north, upstream of the Svitava River) was the branch of the Groẞ Rosen concentration camp in 1944-45, managed by O. Schindler.

Currently in the phase of preparations for remediation, demolition and other rough work. The area is officially inaccessible except for events.

This is one of the numerous factories that once belonged to Oskar Schindler, where a textile factory operated and is being demolished for the construction of the Oskar Schindler foundation. Mistakenly, this was not the factory that welcomed the Krakow Jews, but nonetheless, it is an exciting place to reverence the great Oskar Schindler. I was lucky enough to meet Peter, a surveyor who was working on the survey to build the foundation. Peter led me to the real Schindler Jewish factory which is exactly the front building. I was thrilled to step where this magnificent man saved countless human beings.

War heute am 15.8.2018 dort. Die Gebäude von Googlemaps stehen nicht mehr. Nur 2 oder 3 Ruinen. Sonst alles Schutthalden.
Was there today on August 15, 2018. The Googlemaps buildings are no longer there. Only 2 or 3 ruins. Otherwise all dumps.

This is the factory that Oskar Schindler opened in 1944 moving 1100 Jews from Kraków in Poland who were due to be sent to Austwitz Berkenau Concentration Camp. The factory was operational for 7 months before being liberated by the Russian Army.
