★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palác centrum Vám toho moc nenabídne. Je zde Vietnamec, který má vše, Casino, Omam drahý fastfood a budova jinak slouží spíše firmám.
The Palace Center won't offer you much. There is a Vietnamese who has everything, Casino, Omam expensive fast food and the building otherwise serves companies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palác Centrum je zajímavá stavba, ostře zaříznutá mezi ulicemi 1. máje a Jánskou. Nedaleká křižovatka Rybníček napovídá, že tu byl v 17. století zřízen rybník napájený vodou z řeky Nisy. Ta sem byla přiváděna od jezu, jenž byl na řece zřízen u dnešní výškové budovy krajského úřadu - odtud název ulice U jezu. Tato část Liberce je nazývána dolní centrum. Palác Centrum a přilehlé budovy, určené původně bankovním ústavům tvoří jádro oblasti, která se dnes nejrychleji vyvíjí.
The Palace Center is an interesting building, sharply cut between the streets of 1st May and Janská. The nearby Crossroads named Pond means that a pond powered by water from the Nisa River was set up here in the 17th century. The water was brought here from the weir that was set up at the place of present high-rise building of the regional office - hence the name of street "By the pond". This part of Liberec is called the lower center. The Palace Center and the adjoining buildings, originally designated by banks, form the core of the area that is now the fastest growing.
