★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Památník" cestou na Smrk... kdyby tam nebyl, nic by se nestalo. Samotný vrchol Smrku, který je již nedaleko je to podstatné místo, které stojí za návštěvu.
 "Memorial" on the way to Smrk ... if it was not there, nothing would happen. The very top of Spruce, which is already nearby, is an essential place to visit.

A pile of rock at the place where the opponents of the regime were missing. An interesting point to stop, but it does not provide any special sound or light effects. Boredom

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mám toto místo rád, kousek pod vrcholem Smrku, vím že se blíží meta ?. Většinou tu bývá méně lidí než na vrcholu, spousty borůvek a výhledy které přeci jen časem zarůstají. K památníku chodím už přes 30 let i když kdysi jít k Lennonovi bylo více prestižní.
I like this place, just below the top of Spruce, I know that meta ? is approaching. Usually there are fewer people than at the top, lots of blueberries and views that overgrow over time. I have been going to the memorial for over 30 years, although it used to be more prestigious to go to Lennon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Výstup z Ostravice je docela náročný, alespoň pro mě, ale už jsem praděda, tak to berte s rezervou-a kousek pod vrcholem Smrku najednou památník Johna Lennona. Milé překvapení.
The ascent from Ostravice is quite demanding, at least for me, but I am already great-grandfather, so take the John-Lennon memorial just a bit below the summit of Smrk. Nice surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smrk, to je ještě civilizací celkem nezasažené místo v Beskydech, i když o víkendu tam potkáte dost lidí. Ale když si přistanete, je tam klid.
Spruce is a place not yet affected by civilization in the Beskydy Mountains, even though you will meet a lot of people there at the weekend. But when you land, it's quiet.
