★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mestsky park s pomnikem rufoarmejce, mistnimi vseobecne zvany "Ivan" a pomnik obetem 2. svetove valky.
The city park with the rufarmarm, the local "Ivan" and the sacrifice of the Second World War. It is surrounded by a row of residential houses on two sides. There are only lawns and trees in the park, benches around the roads.

The tallest of the three memorials in the park between Sadová and Strojírenská streets commemorates the dreadful days of the end of the war. At the beginning of May 1945, German troops had already surrendered in many places, but Žďár lay at the crossroads of former important roads and the retreat lasted longer. Upon their escape, they destroyed 33 city buildings. On 9 May, the Germans were executing the enemies on the square. Only a day later around six o'clock in the morning, a reconnaissance unit of the second Ukrainian front of Marshal Rodion Yakovlevich Malinovsky passed through Žďár. The infantry arrived at the square half past ten. In the last days of the war, ten Red Army soldiers were killed or fatally wounded in Žďár.
