Beautiful place. It is located on the trail of the Lapka Valley of Drakov.

Plenty of space, but the road to it is too narrow, if it met two larger cars, it would be a problem to avoid. Otherwise a beautiful walk.

Protection against rain and wind, fireplace, two separate parts for several groups, space for tents (soaked in the rain and most of them are unusable for the construction of tents)

Very well landscaped area. It's easy to get to here by car and there is plenty of parking space. A great place to start hiking in unknown and rarely visited mountains. From here you can climb the peaks of Orlik and Medvedi Vrch. These are the last higher peaks of the Sudeten Mountains in the east. The place itself is great prepared for a fire and rest. A clean stream flows nearby. I highly recommend it even for a night in tents.

The parking lot is a parking lot, but the forest festivities of the paws from Drakov are great. Especially for children! Pure nature and the organizers of the festival care to teach children about nature and the region. Highly recommended for families with children of all ages. If you just want to pour yourself out like a vase, you have a problem with removal. The only signal here is GPS.

A wonderful place for family walks. Forests full of moss, blueberries. Quiet place for hiking. Unfortunately, the place for the ruins of the castle Drakov is not very well marked and we found it only thanks to the map on the phone. :-) But at least it was fun to search.

The settlement of Drakov, located on the road between Vrbno pod Pradědem and Rejvíz, and its customs house is now a non-existent place and therefore rather mythical. Or at least until recently. In the 21st century, it was restored in the form of a historical replica, which is now an integral part - and one of the stops - of the Nature Trail through the Valley of the Paw from Drakov. Originally, it was probably a customs station in Drakov, the origin of which we can probably date II. mid-13th century. The customs house stood at the border between Moravia and Silesia - resp. on the trade route connecting Olomouc with Wrocław, Poland - and its existence probably did not last long. The dragon soon disappeared, probably due to a big fire. After all, it is said that only one ceramic shard was found in the whole locality, which could be included somewhere at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. The very origin of the name of the settlement can be traced to the nearby castle Drakov or Drachenburg. Although the castle is easily questionable, because the German word drachen denotes a strict guardian of almost dragon qualities. It can therefore be reasonably assumed that the Czech form of this term - ie Drakov - refers to an armed and very strict guard and collector. So it was probably more of a customs station than a small guard castle. This station stood on a narrow elongated rock plate of horseshoe shape, which ran into the valley of the river Černá Opava and it was therefore impossible to avoid it. At that time, the dragon was probably a small watchtower residential tower with an adjoining building and open space for merchant caravans, military units, horses and wagons.
