★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veltrusy jsou zajímavé především svým rozsáhlým anglickým parkem s několika pavilony, sochami, můstky přes vodu. V zámku je malá expozice bydlení rodiny Chotků, v přilehlé budově výstava jezdeckých kočárů. Výborné pro procházky ve stínu vzrostlých stromů. Obloukem se ale vyhněte zámecké restauraci. Obsluhou a čekáním se vrátíte do 80.let, cenami překročíte např. zveřinovou celkem luxusní restauraci na Konopišti. V obci najdete asi tři občerstvení, cukrárnu a pizzu, kde se najíte určitě lépe. Je sem i dobré spojení z Prahy vlakem přes Kralupy nebo přímo busem od stanice Metro Kobylisy.
 Veltrusy is especially interesting for its extensive English park with several pavilions, statues, bridges over the water. There is a small exposition of the Chotka family's living in the chateau, and an exhibition of riding carriages in the adjacent building. Great for walks in the shade of mature trees. But avoid the chateau restaurant with the arch. With the service and waiting, you will return to the 80's, with the prices you will exceed, for example, a rather luxurious restaurant in Konopiště. In the village you will find about three snacks, a pastry shop and pizza, where you will definitely find yourself better. There is also a good connection from Prague by train via Kralupy or directly by bus from the Kobylisy Metro station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavé fotogenické místo, ale docela zanedbané okolí. V blízkosti je schátralý amfiteátr, rozpadající se lavičky. Cesta přes oboru zpět k zámku není možná. Musíte po asfaltové silnici kolem pole s malými stromy, takže v horkých dnech nepříjemná trasa bez stínu. Druhou možností je jít zpět k hlavní bráně podél hlavní silnice...
Interesting photogenic place, but quite neglected surroundings. Nearby is a dilapidated amphitheater, crumbling benches. The way through the field back to the castle is not possible. You have to follow the asphalt road around the field with small trees, so on hot days an unpleasant route without shade. The second option is to go back to the main gate along the main road ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je to okrouhlá stavba, jejíž vnitřní síň je obklopena deseti cihlovými sloupy s jónskými hlavicemi. Síň je zaklenuta kopulí nesenou tamburem. Vlys je zdoben růžicemi, vnější plocha tamburu festony a věnci. Přístup do síně je pravoúhlým portálem a světlo sem proniká čtyřmi velkými obdélníkovými okny.
It is a round building, the inner hall of which is surrounded by ten brick columns with Ionic capitals. The hall is vaulted with a dome carried by a tambourine. The frieze is decorated with roses, the outer surface of the tambourine festoons and wreaths. Access to the hall is a rectangular portal and light penetrates through four large rectangular windows.
