Pleasant little guest house directly below the castle. The historic city center is a 3-minute beautiful walk along the main pedestrian zone. Rooms clean, practically furnished. Breakfast could be a little richer. Friendly and helpful staff. The pension has a restaurant, a nice Italian cafe outside. Parking provided by contract.

So this is a crazy place! We bought a stay with half board at the castle in a family pension ... We arrived in an empty cold house, we walked outside for 20 minutes before Mr. finally picked up the phone in a sleepy voice and sent the receptionist. She, also without apology, explained to us that the dinners are OUTSIDE the boarding house, specifically in the FITNESS CENTER behind Krumlov !! In addition to the tennis courts, we were given a choice of ONE FOOD. That's what a man visiting a romantic city really wants! Take it or leave it. Although she had breakfast in the morning, she could not sit in the dining room without her winter jacket. We loaded it on plates and brought 2 floors to the room. How I say - absolutely romantic well-being in Krumlov. God ...

The room was so small that he couldn't even put his suitcase down. Equipment almost none, not even towels. The shower was not the cleanest. Nothing hot for breakfast and moreover in a musty restaurant. They did not let us into the garden, which is advertised, with the proviso that it is only for the owners. I do not recommend. The ratio of quality X price absolutely does not match

The pension is in a quieter part of Krumlov and yet you are 10 minutes walk to the castle and a few minutes you are also on the square. We had a room for 2 people. It was so tiny, but since you're on a trip all day, the room was great. The bathroom is renovated, there is a hair dryer, refrigerator and television, heating in a moment managed to heat the whole room. The furniture is older from the past, wooden beams protrude from the walls, so it also has its charm. The only thing I was sorry about was that there were no shelves in the closet, just a few hooks for hanging. The lady who prepared breakfast and took care of the guesthouse in general was very nice. She gave us tips for a trip when we needed help or advice, so she didn't hesitate and helped and explained everything. Breakfast was therefore part of the stay. It took place in a guest house on the ground floor in the so-called pub by the hat, which, unfortunately, was only open for breakfast and was therefore probably otherwise closed. Which could at least be stated in the email when communicating during the booking process, when it is already stated in the voucher as a tip for free time and that we will be able to have 1x free coffee and 1x welcome drink. During half board we had the second meal in the Restaurant Jelenka, which is about 10 minutes walk from the house. We had a choice of multiple dishes and cooked there wonderfully. During the communication during the planning of the stay, they could state that the fee to the municipality increased, because the stay was paid in cash only, the card could not be paid and I had the exact amount ready, so I was missing a few hundred due to the increase in the city fee.
