Excellent experience! Do not miss the chance to try typical Czech cuisine. I was really impressed.

Positive: Good location, staff very nice and helpful, great breakfast and restaurant.. Negative: Maybe beds a bit hard, but fine.

Positive: Breakfast, cleanlines of the room, the manager was nice and the food even for dinner eas really nice for reasonable price.. Negative: The location could be a little bit more close to some facilities..

They offer good quality standard Czech meals such as goulash and fried cheese. And they offer it with a feel good smile of very pleasant service

Ok, so food was average sometimes overdone. Be prepared for a long wait for food if restaurant is busy. We had 5 in our group and one night 2 were served well before the other 3 with over an hour wait for food. English is not available on menu. Czech , Polish and German are though. Serving staff were very nice though and one in particular had good English. We also had breakfast here too as we stayed a guests in the Penzion. Breakfast is basic Eastern European fare, cold meats, cheese, bread, rolls, sausage, sunny side up eggs, runny scramble eggs in the tradition of Eastern Europe. Yoghurts, jams. Cereals, which were not covered after breakfast as we could see them in the evening when we went for dinner.

Positive: This is a good location for skiing anywhere in Krakonoske resort as it is on the main road and not far from the ski bus stop. There is parking in front of the house and it is very convenient having a good restaurant right there. Beds were comfortable and there was sufficient hot water for all to have showers at end of day skiing. Restaurant food tasted really good and there were a couple of different beers on tap. Staff were very willing and friendly. The cakes and deserts in the restaurant are excellent and they brew a decent coffee.. Negative: We weren't sure we were given the room we booked as on the photos of the booking there were no eves in the room - i.e. it was a normal room with a flat not sloping ceiling. Our room had a very sloped ceiling and really felt too small for the four of us (2 adults and two children) We suffered from lack of air in the night, especially as the window was right over the children's pull out bed so we couldn't leave it open all night. Breakfast only started at 8 am which is really too late for a ski holiday. To beat the long queues at the lifts you really need to be there when they open at 8.30. The breakfast is good and substantial and therefore you don't want to miss it. If I stayed here again I would try to book without breakfast and grab a coffee and roll at the cafe at the top of the cable car station just to avoid the terrible scramble in the crowds and queues. There was really only one person at reception who could speak German or English and it was quite tricky on arrival as she wasn't there. The restaurant waiter though in the evening spoke good English. The food we ate at the restaurant although tasting very good was incredibly salty and we all suffered in the night from extreme thirst!.

Knedle with potato and pork were too much sticky and meat not good. Beef tatar was prepares with too much seasoned. The owner/waiter was urging us to exit because he wanted tgo close. We were waiting too long for the food. Sorry but not recomended
