It's a pity that this is over. The intention was certainly good, the result also only a little profitable. We were always the only guests on both visits.

Very pleasant guest house with a human approach operating (owners) in a beautiful setting in the middle of the woods. We have been here repeatedly and certainly not for the last time. I warmly recommend.

We had a wedding here. We discussed everything several times. Nothing was a problem. On the day of the wedding, the problem was absolutely everything and you just had to look at Mrs. Blahová and her angry face. The service one big disaster ... just promises and nothing is a problem and then nothing, there should have been four girls to serve. There was one. And then the bill ... Goulash one serving / 300CZK? And one cold bowl for 3000 CZK? Beer surcharge, because I don't slowly meet a wedding, like 40 CZK for beer, even in Brno ... And then there will be a lot of items that you don't even have a clue about ... The only beautiful thing is the place, but then you will just be very surprised ... If you are getting a wedding, look elsewhere. Perhaps everywhere else around you it will be cheaper as a result and you will definitely not meet such insincere people with the approach of first honey around the mouth and then just watching what happened to those nice people on the day of the wedding ... A huge disappointment for me ... And I have these references from three other brides ... It's a pity we didn't know in advance.

We slept here on a pilgrimage on the Way of St. James. We made the reservation the day before by phone. We did not see any guests other than us. The day before they had a wedding and the lady who accommodated us was said to be very tired of cleaning. She was quite reluctant, we had to ask for towels, and we learned that they don't usually give them to guests here (and that she thought we would probably come for them). Room clean, well equipped, shower and toilet too. So perhaps the lady slept from the annoyance. For her reluctance but minimal evaluation ...

We had booked a guest house from 08/2019 to 05/2020, but so covid, we moved the wedding to 09/2020. The place is beautiful, we really liked that the ceremony, banquet and accommodation can be in one place, exactly what we were looking for. The first snag occurred when we were dealing with details about the food. We didn't want a classic lunch, but served soup and a lunch buffet. The operating lady had no experience with this, but in the end she said that it would suit us. However, she didn't like the number of meals we had planned and made faces. I admit that we probably had too many of those dishes, but we wanted the guests to have a choice. Another snag was the service - there were supposed to be 40 of us and 1 service behind the bar and 1 service on the debaras, she said that more people are useless. We agreed to it, finally she told us at the next meeting that there would be 1 staff behind the bar and 2 staff on the debaras, as we originally wanted. I had the documents ready and a lot of questions for the meeting, she told me that I should not take it so seriously and that I must realize that we are not in a 5 * hotel. However, we agreed on everything, the lady gave us a price offer - handwritten on A4 and that we should send a deposit of 50% - no advance invoice, just gave us the account number. We said to ourselves that it was a village guest house, not a 5 * hotel, as she herself said, so that we did not follow the formalities. After reading the negative review, we went to the guesthouse saying that we want the wedding to take place there, but that everything was fine and that the owner and the staff behind the bar at our wedding did not figure (alcohol and vulgar behavior), Mrs. operating us she said that THERE IS NOTHING A PROBLEM, Mr. owner will go fishing and will not be at our wedding. The phrase NOTHING IS A PROBLEM was repeated very often. The lady dealt with us all the details, as we wanted, took notes, drew the arrangement of tables, etc., so we left with the feeling that we said it straight, the pension will try to do the maximum for us and that everything will turn out well . However, on the way home, I received an email saying that she was CANCELING our wedding. A month before the wedding !!!.

November / December 2020: I don't quite understand those hard reviews. And I have not encountered anything like that here, on the contrary, willingness, well-being, helpfulness. August 2020: It is usually open from 4 pm and is not usually cooked here (only probably ordered events, also accommodation). Beautiful garden, perfectly treated Urquell and for an incredible 35 CZK. The choice may be to know that the business is not yet in normal operation completely, but to stop here and refresh during the trip, I recommend. May 2020: I visited after a long time, now it is open again (but I did not find opening hours). Served by an older and very helpful gentleman, the decoration is hunting trophies, good beer Prazdroj, the garden behind the terrace really carefully maintained and apparently but the kitchen was not yet in operation, probably not even accommodation. Year 2018: The restaurant was closed during my visit and is for sale according to the sign before the entrance. About the summer season, it's actually often closed here, although the staff is inside. The restaurant usually works here only on weekends, but in the summer the traffic is probably normal. However, I cannot assess the accommodation. It is a new building, the interior does not deviate from anything or offend. In summer you can also sit outside on the terrace overlooking the well-kept garden, the forest is only a few steps away. Weddings are often held here, probably holding the business out of the summer season.
