I came with my wife and children to Penzion Zalesi encouraged by good opinions, but unfortunately it turned out that it was the worst possible choice. After a day's hike in the Czech Sudetes, we returned to our room to get ready to sleep. Our 2-year-old needed a pampers replacement, so we took him to the bathroom to change his clothes. It turned out to be unfortunately but no water either from the tap or in the shower. I went to the owner who was behaving in a very strange way and, not speaking English at all, mumbled voda yen in patek in his language, behind the well house. We were outraged at what we were supposed to do in this situation, it was 22 o'clock on Wednesday and the owner informed us that they only had water on Fridays, and on the other days it was taken from the well ... Eventually I decided to go for this water, but unfortunately it turned out that the entrance door to the guesthouse was closed, after a fruitless 15-minute search for the owners of the guesthouse, I decided to go out through the window on the ground floor to get wet tissues for the car. The moment I was returning from the car, the owner closed my window, stuck his tongue out at me and showed me his middle finger. I called my wife to ask what happened, and the owner and the owner came and spat on the ground and told us to go out, drink ***. And we were kicked out of the guesthouse at 10:30 pm, with two young children without a roof over their heads. Asking and begging did not help, and the owner rushed to us with his hands ... at the end, when we had already left the guesthouse, the owner from the window on the first floor started to spit at us. Tragedy, I do not recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Lots of Spartan accommodation, the building would need a lot of renovation. In the restaurant building, but I would rather compare it to a restaurant, with the possibility of ordering a hoddog or hamburger and just drinking. Unfortunately, here the lockdown signed a lot :-(

The guesthouse smelled of urine and sewage, the owner was drunk on the couch in the porch of the guesthouse, and next to him was a full bowl of vomit. When entering the room, be careful of hanging flysticks. We came here by accident because we stayed next door. We used the restaurant and we liked it very much :) Especially the goulash with dumplings :) Very homely atmosphere without commercialism and bloat. Very friendly owners :) We ate here 4 days in a row and everything was always good. It's hard to get here because the entrance is on the side and poorly illuminated.

The restaurant has no ambition to become a hotel with 5 stars. But that's fine. I remember it was the cheapest hostel. As students years ago, we did not need comfort. Now the new owners took it to the parade and fixed it as far as possible. Yes, social workers will never be in the rooms. The simple layout of the building does not allow anything other than together in the hallway. But it is no longer just a hostel, but a pleasant environment for overnight stays and there are dinners and refreshments.
