★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lasciandoci alle spalle il celebre Ponte Carlo , dopo aver attraversato le due torri gotiche e percorso via Mostecka si giunge in piazza Malostranskè , nel quartiere storico di Malá Strana , di ampie dimensioni che è divisa dalla maestosa chiesa di San Nicola in due piccole piazze del tutto indipendenti ; è situata sotto il Castello di Praga e presenta molti edifici storici ; la parte superiore è dominata dalla facciata della Chiesa e dalla colonna della peste della Santa Trinità , quella inferiore è sovrastata dal campanile e dalla cupola della chiesa di San Nicola e circondata da bellissimi edifici rinascimentali come il grande Palazzo Smiřických con le sue piccole torri esagonali .
