V pozdější historii je zajímavostí, že do domu přestěhoval Václav Matěj Kramerius svoje nakladatelství Česká expedice, která zde sídlila až do roku 1804. Dnes působení Krameria připomíná pamětní deska na průčelí domu.
Kromě piva vám na tomto významném místě rádi nabídneme některou z řady českých specialit naší kuchyně, vedené úspěšným šéfkuchařem Martinem Procházkou, který k nám přišel z hotelu Alcron, kde stál u zisku michelinské hvězdy. V menu, které pro restauraci sestavil, naleznete kromě denní nabídky a sezonního jídelníčku také velký výběr specialit určených přímo k pivu.

We arrived around lunchtime and unfortunately there were no free tables but it looked so cosy… we went across the road and had a terrible experience so came back here a few hours later and luckily got a table. The beer is delicious and the food, too. We ate beef tartare and potato chips which were a cross between crisps and chips- hot and some soft and some crispy. I never ate something like this before but they were so good I will try and make them at home. Our waitress is so friendly and kind which is a nice refreshment after the grumpy guy in the restaurant across the road. Happy to sit here for a few hours eating and drinking! I’d recommend to anyone looking for authentic beer and local food with a lovely and warm atmosphere.

We were enjoying ourselves so much we couldn't stop eating the food and walked out about 10kg heaver. But being in a great walking city we attempted to walk it off, but probably failed miserably. Very well feed and watered, thank you!

Unfortunately the cow cheek meat was far too hard to chew, quite a disappointment. The staff downstairs were very friendly men. Upstairs there was a young lady, who made it quite clear as soon as we entered: I don't speak Czech. It was quite loud as well. It was OK but nothing really special.
