 Plac Wolności is a former representative square. On its northern side there is a historic railway station (1855) and in the center of the square there is the shadow of the Freedom Monument. On the east side there is an Art Nouveau tenement house (1906) and on the west side the building of the former Hotel Gebauer (1890)
