★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Polevkarna is the cutest little dining venue in Karlin where one can enjoy a lovely selection of soups from all around the world, so rich in flavor that it will make your pallate dizzy! Along with the soups they also serve the great KHACHAPURI, the georgian meal that stole my heart (sorry, burek), as well as something sweet on the side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their soup with khachapuri is always delicious - you can choose from about 4 different flavours each day. The place is always crowded and it is a bit hard to sit comfortably there, but it is definitely worth the great soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with tasteful soups. After a couple of days in Prague, I was missing something liquid in the stomach and I found this place which I enjoyed very much. After using Google Translate to see what to eat, I saw that they speak english well. The prices are right and we enjoyed a big and small portion of Borsh with beef and a Georgian chachapuri with some 150 czk. Below a picture of the menu from that day and the beef borsh Unfortunately I discovered the place on the last day. If you come to Bucharest, you have to try a similar place called Ciorbarie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few places that are cheap in Karlín and solidly good. The menu is always the same, minestrone, chicken broth or borscht (250 or 400 ml) to choose from, plus Khachapuri as a side dish. Place is quite small so takeaway is an option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My colleague recommended this place, she goes there for almost every lunch, and it was not disappointing!
We had really good soups, apparently they are freshly made.
And the spinach cheese bread is better than pizza ?
The seating area is small but nice.
Highly recommend!
