★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dvoupatrová nárožní budova radnice v Polici nad Metují byla postavena v 18. století pravděpodobně podle projektu Kiliána Ignáce Dientzenhofera jako soukromý dům a od roku 1740 je sídlem městské správy. Na jejím místě původně stávala dřevěná chalupa, jejíž majitele jsou známí od 16. století. Roku 1842 vyhořela, původní cibulovitá věž byla nahrazena roku 1876 novou osmibokou věží ve slohu tudorské gotiky.
The two-storey corner building of the Town Hall in Police nad Metují was built in 18th century probably according to the design of Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer as a private house and since 1740 it has been the seat of the town administration. In its place was originally a wooden cottage stood, whose owners are known since the 16th century. In 1842 the original tower was replaced by a new octagonal tudor-Gothic tower in 1876.
