★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Špatně čitelný text na památníku: "Nepatrná hrstka lidí přemohla spojené řady obrněných, poněvadž byla přesvědčena o své pravdě. Tehdáž byly strany dvě, Evropa a my. A ta Evropa byla bledá, zsinalá a černý prapor s rudým kalichem vlál jí nad hlavou. Vzpomínejte uvědomte si čím jsme tehdáž byli. Tu jdeme mezi mohylami vítězů ale ne po hrobech pobitých".
