A monument to local gardeners fallen on barricades in May 1945. Quite unique is that it is neither flashy nor stone and does not have a marble slab. It is a modest concrete memorial with an enamelled sign, for me personally the only one I know.

Kuriózní pomník umučeným a padlým zahrádkářům najdete v pražské Stromovce, pod pahorkem Pecka, nedaleko Císařského mlýna. A curious monument to the tortured and fallen gardeners can be found in Prague's Stromovka Park, below the Pecka Hill, near the Emperor's Mill. Two fell on barricades, the third was tortured by the Nazis. A small memorial at the beginning of the gardening colony is easy to overlook, yet it is a beautiful place worth a short visit.
