★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antonín Sucharda (23. 5. 1843 - 21. 9. 1911) ze slavného rodu Suchardů vytvořil tento, v Čechách nejstarší doložený, pomník Mistra Jana Husa v roce 1872. Je zajímavé, že sochař Sucharda byl také aktivním Sokolem. Mezi roky 1870 až 1876 byl v Nové Pace náčelníkem a potom (1881 - 1897) dokonce starostou Sokola. ... Pomník je památkově chráněn.
Antonín Sucharda (May 23, 1843 - September 21, 1911) created this, the oldest documented, monument of Master Jan Hus from the famous Suchard family in Bohemia in 1872. It is interesting that the sculptor Sucharda was also an active Falcon. Between 1870 and 1876 he was chief in Nová Paka and then (1881 - 1897) even mayor of Sokol. ... The monument is a protected monument.
