The area around Rokytka in Vysočany has undergone significant changes over time. Already in the 19th century, the river was significantly regulated, but until about the Second World War, there were mostly meadows around it. The aerial photographs from 1948 clearly show the craters after the bombing of Vysočany. One crater was located directly in the area of ​​today's dam and two were in Rokytka next to the pond. In the 1950s, a large gardening colony began to emerge here. It was canceled in 2010 due to the planned construction of a park and pond.
