V jízdním řádu pro cestující je označená číslem 021 a jde jednokolejnou celostátní trať. Převážně je vedena podél toku Divoké Orlice. Trati se také někdy přezdívá "Podorlický pacifik". Dráhu vybudovala, vlastnila a provozovala společnost Rakouská severozápadní dráha od ledna 1874 až do zestátnění 1. ledna 1908. Trať se ocitla poněkud stranou zájmu poté, co ji přeťala hranice mezi Královéhradeckým a Pardubickým krajem. The railway line Týniště nad Orlicí - Letohrad passes through Potštejn and all trains stop there. In the passenger timetable it is marked with number 021 and it is a single-track nationwide track. It is mostly led along the Divoká Orlice River, so the track is also sometimes called "Podorlice´s pacifik". The railway was built, owned and operated by the Austrian Northwest Railway from January 1874 until its nationalization on January 1, 1908. The track became somehow less important after it was cut by the border between the Hradec Králové and Pardubice regions.
