★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Přístřešek U železného sloupku má charakter prostorného dřevěného altánku, pojme nejméně deset turistů k ochraně před nepřízni počasí.
Uvnitř altánku malý stolek a podél stěn lavice, ve stěnách velké obdélníkové průhledové otvory. Na stěně altánku tabulky s informacemi o tzv. bodu záchrany a také soukromé záchranné službě (viz foto).
Přístřešek postaven dle státního mapového díla v místě nazvaném Železný sloupek. U něho také větší parkoviště U železného sloupku (viz Google Mapa, kategorie: Parkoviště). V letní sezóně hojně používané motoristy, využívané ovšem i lesní správou.
Přístřešek stojí u žluté turistické trasy Klubu českých turistů vedené přírodní oblastí Devítiskalská vrchovina (viz Google Mapa, kategorie: Oblast pro pěší turistiku).
Místo je součástí trasy: Svratka – Devět skal – Fryšava pod Žákovou horou.

 Shelter U železného sloupku has the character of a spacious wooden gazebo, can accommodate at least ten tourists to protect against bad weather.
Inside the gazebo a small table and along the walls of the bench, in the walls large rectangular openings. On the wall of the gazebo there are tables with information about the so-called rescue point and also the private rescue service (see photo).
The shelter was built according to the state map work in a place called the Iron Column. It also has a larger car park U železného sloupku (see Google Map, category: Parking). In the summer season, widely used by motorists, but also used by the forest administration.
The shelter stands by the yellow tourist route of the Czech Tourists' Club led by the Devítiskalská vrchovina nature area (see Google Map, category: Hiking area).
The place is part of the route: Svratka - Devět skal - Fryšava pod Žákovou horou.
