★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dne 19. 10. 1860 bylo na žádost obyvatel Řep a Zličína rozhodnuto o zřízení společné školy pro obě vsi. Školní budova byla postavena v Řepích poblíž dnes již zaniklého rybníka Chobot hostivickým stavitelem Pavlem Šafaříkem. Slavnostně vysvěcena byla 27. 9. 1863. Koncem 19. století už budova kapacitně nestačila, proto se od roku 1893 připravovala stavba školy nové podle projektu Václava Holečka v novorenesančním slohu. Základní kámen byl položen v roce 1896 na dosud nezastavěném pozemku poblíž staré školy. Slavnostně vysvěcena byla 9. května 1897.
On 19 October 1860, at the request of the inhabitants of Řepy and Zličín, it was decided to establish a joint school for both villages. The school object was built in Řepy near the now defunct Chobot pond by the Hostivice builder Pavel Šafařík. It was solemnly consecrated on September 27, 1863. At the end of the 19th century, the building did not have enough capacity, so from 1893 the construction of a new school was prepared according to the project of Václav Holeček in the Neo-Renaissance style.
