Se sousedním autobusovým nádražím vytváří klíčový dopravní terminál Prostějovska příhodně situovaný v blízkosti samého centra Prostějova.
Certain modernization (interior with service offer; question of opinion: build subways?) Would certainly not hurt this railway station, but certainly not the worst. With the neighboring bus station, the key transport terminal of Prostějov is conveniently located near the very center of Prostějov.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vyžaduje rekonstrukci, kterou už pár desítek let slibují. Hodilo by se postavit podchod a nějaký normální obchod (např. Minit nebo nějakou menší kavárnu). Stávající obchody jsou často zavřené a nenabízí dost sortimentu. Často nepříjemná obsluha a velké mrhání místem, které by se dalo využít k více službám. Čd centrum k nicemu tak jako antikvariát.
