★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obecní úřed je v budově staré školy v centru obce uprostřed náměstí. V přízemí je informační centrum, kde je možné také vyřídit některé běžné záležitosti. Není zde k dispozici bezplatné parkoviště ani na krátkou dobu. Obecní policie je ve střehu a špatně zaparkovaná auta obvykle nepřehlédne.
The municipal office is in the old school building in the center of the village in the middle of the square. There is an information center on the ground floor, where you can also handle some common matters. There is no free parking, even for a short time. Municipal police are on guard and poorly parked cars usually do not miss.

The village is situated at 306 meters above sea level. Almost three thousand people live in the area. The cadastral area of 753 ha consists of three separate villages - Průhonice, Hole and Rozkoš. Průhonice offer a school, kindergarten, playground for children and youth, church, health center, pharmacy, banks, many restaurants, congress and accommodation facilities.
První písemná zpráva o obci pochází z roku 1187 v souvislosti s vysvěcením románské kaple Narození Panny Marie a z roku 1270, kdy byli jako purkrabí Pražského hradu jmenováni Zdislav a Oldřich z Průhonic.. Obec se nachází v nadmořské výšce 306 metrů. Na území žijí necelé tři tisíce obyvatel. Katastr o rozloze 753 ha tvoří původně tři samostatné obce - Průhonice, Hole a Rozkoš. V obci je škola, školka, hřiště pro děti a mládež, kostel, zdravotní středisko, lékárna, banky, řada restaurací, kongresových a ubytovacích zařízení.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh, the municipal office of Pruhonice, what a great memory there: I wanted to go for a little walk with my favourite student and she parked her car there, probably that was the highlight of my day / trip in the Czech Republic, maybe even life (!!!)?? :)
