 Nice service and delicious food. I also recommend it for cyclists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krmení rodiny (duben 2018) od cca 14:00 proběhlo úspěšně, měli ještě hotovky. Ceny průměr, chuť také. Plusem je terasa (zatím chladno, tak mimo provoz) a prodejní výstava obrazů na stěnách restaurace. Ovšem hned za rohem (cca 120 m) je náměstí a další (levnější) jídelny.
The feeding of the family (April 2018) from about 14:00 was successful, they still had cash. Prices average, taste too. A plus is the terrace (still cold, so out of service) and a sales exhibition of paintings on the walls of the restaurant. However, just around the corner (approx. 120 m) is the square and other (cheaper) dining rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Návštěva poprvé a naposledy. Paní velmi nepříjemná, ani se nezeptala co si dáme a hned přinesla mísu ať si nalijeme polévku. Na pití jsme čekali bezmála půl hodiny a platit jsme museli jít na bar, paní kolem nás vždy naštvaně prošla a ani si nás nevšimla
Visit for the first and last time. The lady was very unpleasant, she didn't even ask what we would have and immediately brought a bowl to pour our soup. We waited for a drink for almost half an hour and we had to pay to go to the bar, the lady always walked past us angrily and didn't even notice us

I give three stars if I didn't like the food completely. The rest is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Restaurant Bašta ist ein absoluter Geheimtip. Bei meinem Wochenendaufenthalt in Kaplice war ich mit meiner Frau 2x hier zum Essen. Sehr nette Wirtsleute, hier kocht die Chefin selbst, gute Portionen und preiswert. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.
The Bašta restaurant is an absolute insider tip. During my weekend stay in Kaplice, my wife and I went here to eat twice. Very nice hosts, here the boss cooks herself, good portions and inexpensive. I highly recommend it.
