★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good pilsen beer, nice garder, rather quiet given the proximity of rails, but poor service takes away two stars. The bartenders dont get the basics of clanlines and hygiene (eg. sticking fingers into drinks without any problem).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful Bar on the outskirts of Prague, with very good food (you can see that the chef really cares what he serves). The beer is also great,as is the friendly service. Would recommend a trip on the train from Masarykovo nadrazi,it only takes 20 mins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a rather spacious inside/outside pub/cafe/restaurant right by a busy commuter city railway station in a sought out periphery neighborhood of Prague. Very popular among those arriving back home from work for beers (several types on tap), food, coffees, meetings, etc. Also a huge spot for hikers and cyclists who flood the local protected woods during the warm period of the year. Service and food has hugely improved since a couple of years ago due to a new management - not a stinking hole by the railway anymore. The place has a mix of tradition + modern approach. Prices are very agreeable and totally worth it. Dogs and children are also welcome (there is a big green playground for them).

The staff is attentive, friendly and accommodating. The beer is cold and poured right. The food is far better than your average train station fare, the quality and variety allows to always choose something that we're in mood for.
They must be doing something right, since there's always a decent crowd there, with many people biking in for a beer or some pub fare.
