Friendly staff, the menu was explained in German, it tasted good. Rustic simple flair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pokud jedete na směru Jičín Turnov a máte třeba hlad odbočte do Rovenska pod Troskami. Na náměstí v obec.úradu je restaurace kde dobře vaří mají dostatečný výběr domácí kuchyně.
If you are driving in the direction of Jičín Turnov and you are hungry, turn to Rovensko pod Troskami. On the square in the village there is a restaurant where well cooked have a sufficient selection of home cooking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poměrně slušná hospoda, pivo dobré, obsluha velice slušná. Návštěva zde neurazí, ale taky nenadchne. Jídlo jsem neměl možnost zkusit.
Quite a decent pub, beer good, service very decent. The visit will not offend, but it will not excite. I couldn't try food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my wife and I come to Rovensko we stop here often. The price is right and the food is good. Nothing extraordinary here, but good local Czech food.
I personally prefer the dumplings stuffed with meat. It is very good!
