I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!! It looks ostentatious, but only at a glance and the price ... the quality of the cuisine is comparable to a better school canteen ... the food under review is "Pork Krkovice with bread" - the meat was cooked, but the solid and dumplings tasted like bought. There are 6 tables in the restaurant for the public, it is quite full, and if there are more of you than the table can hold, do not expect help from the staff ... they will not even know the difference between lemon lemonade after the staff named it together with three other types of lemonade, and lemon beer, and the difference between the two and the four also doesn't tell them anything. The staff consists of 3 people who have just passed 18, so do not look for power, intelligence and ability here. I do not recommend this restaurant. You better go somewhere else. Save both money and mind from bad memories.

At a brewery restaurant, I would have imagined it much better. My cousin and I like to visit various facilities associated with breweries. But when we sit down at the table and the first thing that happens when the staff arrives is that he puts a stand with a paper with a reservation on the table, it occurred to us that we should go again. Well, we had two beers, cmundu Kaplicku and went. The back is so big that it can hold several tours, but they only made it accessible when a tour really arrived. So they could have a few tables for less numerous guests. Food such an average. The service some weird. It occurred to me that they somehow couldn't handle it in the kitchen when the waitresses cooked food on a plate. The environment is quiet and relaxing for a beer.

The restaurant is located in the Regent brewery behind the Novohrad Gate. Just enter the main gate of the brewery, turn right at the gate and you are at the entrance to the restaurant. Some reviewers also mention the terrace with snacks. Although it is also in the brewery complex, it has nothing to do with the Regent Gold restaurant. On the terrace you can have only a simple snack without service and buy drinks. The terrace is not connected to the restaurant, so you cannot order the food offered by the restaurant on the terrace and vice versa. We have been to this restaurant for lunch several times in the course of about 6 years, so we can compare. Years ago, it cooked well here, the service was fast and the prices were lower than at other restaurants near the center of Třeboň. However, our current visit proved the qualitative descent of this restaurant. The prices of a regular lunch are in the range of approx. CZK 150-200, which is already approaching the competition in the area, but the quality of the food has decreased. We had a brewery mixture with potato pancakes and a pasta salad with chicken. The brewing mixture was quite well flavored, it could have been sharper, but the potato pancakes were dry with a crispy peel and the consistency of the inside revealed that it was probably a semi-finished product or a powder product, not real potatoes. The pasta salad with chicken consisted of a pile of pasta on one square plate, a pile of meat in the other, a piece of sliced ​​vegetables in the third, and a leaf of iceberg lettuce in the last garnish. The chef probably doesn't even know the basics of cooking when he doesn't know that the salad should have all the ingredients mixed together. It was also very inconspicuous in taste, it probably only affected some dressing in flight. We had a non-alcoholic flavored Renegát lemon beer to drink and that was good. Previously, I sometimes had a semi-dark beer by Petr Vok here, but I will no longer accept the current increased price, resp. I will accept it in a restaurant with good food :-). The service was good with us, but the young people could see a lot of inexperience in the field, at some tables they asked for orders, for example 3 times, on the contrary, our neighbors completely forgot about the ordered drink. The place was not divided, so three people in a row went somewhere in succession, somewhere for a long time no one. They do not take meal vouchers when paying. Another disadvantage of the restaurant is its unused capacity. Behind the curtains at the end of the smaller hall is another larger one, but the staff prefers to leave guests outside and do not let others in, or seat you at crowded tables with spare chairs, but the other hall does not open. It is in operation only occasionally, when a tour arrives, for example. Inconceivable. The toilets are relatively clean, but very small, sometimes lacking soap. In its current form, this restaurant certainly does not entice us to repeat the visit for lunch. Rather, we will try other businesses in the area.
