★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vilu dal postavit Jan Riedel své manželce, která byla že šlechtického rodu. Byla stavěna z pískovcových kvádrů, které očíslovány, se montovaly až na místě. Vila je postavena v duchu italských vil. Okolo býval park, skleníky, oranžerie, jezírka. To je pryč. Zbylo jen malé jezírko. Ve vile se nezachovalo nic z bývalého interiéru. Je tam knihovna, malý výstavní sál, informace o rodu Riedlových a ukázky sklářských výrobků.
 The villa was built by Jan Riedel to his wife, who was a noble family. It was built of sandstone blocks, numbered, mounted on site. The villa is built in the spirit of Italian villas. Around was a park, greenhouses, orangery, lakes. It's gone. There was only a small pool left. Nothing from the former interior was preserved in the villa. There is a library, a small exhibition hall, information about the Riedl family, and samples of glassware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muzeum jsme s časových důvodů nenavštívily ale vypadalo pěkně , velmi příjemná paní v informačním středisku která poradí a lze u ní zakoupit i výborné nápoje kitl, sklenářské výrobky a další pamětní výrobky z okolí a Desné.
We did not visit the museum due to time reasons, but it looked nice, very nice lady in the information center who will advise and can buy excellent kitl drinks, glazier products and other commemorative products from the surroundings and Desná.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Každý rok o Desenské pouti se koná v areálu Riedlovy vily akce takzvaná dřevosochařství. Můžete být přítomni u toho jak z kusu kmenu stromu šikovné ruce vytvoří nádherné sochy. viz.foto. Bonusem této akce je i dražba a pokud chcete mít takovou sochu na své zahradě můžete si ji koupit. Spolu s touto akcí je v areálu vždy nějaké vystoupení ať už netradičních tanečních a hudebnich skupin.
Every year, during the Desenská pout, an event called woodcarving takes place in the area of the Riedl Villa. You can be present at how a skilful hand creates a beautiful sculpture from a piece of tree trunk. see photo. A bonus of this event is also an auction and if you want to have such a statue in your garden, you can buy it. Along with this event, there is always a performance of non-traditional dance and music groups in the area.
