★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jen pár minut chůze od obce západním směrem se nachází údolí zvané Suchý důl. Tento název, spolu s variantou Sukdol, dal jméno obci.
Pověsti o zázračných uzdraveních místní vodou byly pobídkou jednak pro stavbu kostela, vodní kaple, postupně vesnice, křížové cesty, soch a oslavných poutí k Panně Marii.
Zvláštní kapitolu v historii tvoří zvony. Ty se pravidelně ozývaly od roku 1830. V roce 1916 byly zrekvírovány armádou pro válečné účely. Nové zvony se do kostela vrátily v roce 1923. Ve 2. světové válce je zabavila německá armáda a trvalo dlouhé roky - do léta 1969, kdy byly posvěceny zvony současné.
Just a few minutes walk from the village to the west is a valley called Suchý důl. This name, along with the Sukdol variant, gave the village its name.
Rumors of miraculous healings by the local water were the impetus for the construction of the church, water chapel, gradually the village, the Stations of the Cross, statues and celebratory pilgrimages to the Virgin Mary.
A special chapter in history consists of bells. These have been heard regularly since 1830. In 1916, they were requisitioned by the army for military purposes. New bells returned to the church in 1923. In World War II, they were confiscated by the German army and lasted for many years - until the summer of 1969, when the current bells were consecrated.
