★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rock mill, or Skalni mlyn in Czech, is the sight of two caves, Punkva being one of them. It is easily reached from Blansko (which in turn is easily reached by train from Brno), a bus goes right up to the sights there. (Cost: 10 kr.)
Make sure you arrive at the bus stop at Blansko before 10:58, because that's the last bus until 3 o'clock that goes there directly.
If you arrive later, you can take a local bus to Techov and walk the remaining 2,5 km from there through the woods. The green arrows point your way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place at all cost. Worst service anywhere around the world and I have visited over 100 countries. We have been lied to 2 days in a row about the boat ride. We have been driving 4 hours and hundreds of kilometers for two days so that people at office would tell us that boat trip is cancelled without informing us in advance. First day we just said it OK it happens we will come back tomorrow and than tomorrow same thing happened!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive:
Location is one great plus since it is in the vicinity to the caves that everyone wants to visit. View from window was a view of forest and rocks. Receptionist was friendly.
Friendly server for the time of dinner (blonde lady) was very friendly.
Negative:
Room that we had was not cleaned properly for a long time. Behind the desk there was bottle cap, hairclip and booking ticket for the hotel from other other guest that stayed over a month ago. I do not know how sombody managed this but there was hair on the bathroom wall near the ceiling. Green pillow ws stained from guests from the past.
66€ is way overpaid price for this room, but they know that they are in the vicinite of the cavaes so they squize out the guests.
If you are a big berson there is no way you can take comfortable shower since they are tiny.
Serving staff (man) in the kitchen (at breakfast time) has no will to be there.
A group of guests was aperantly having a party with the staff infront of the hotel, since nobdy from the staff even tried to queit them down at midnight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite expensive but tasty food. We had two sorts of fish and both were well prepared. The staff was friendly but a little bit slow when we needed to pay. The design of the place is acceptable. They started to move chairs and tables in a noisy manner during our lunch so it was not comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel does not reach the standard of its 3 stars. We checked in on a normal Wednesday and the front desk (who was also the kitchen staff) urged us to finish our dinner before 7pm because the front desk and kitchen will be closed by then, unlike what they stated on their website and on their door, 10pm. The fish came half cooked, though after redone tasted quite alright. About the room. Nothing really wrong with the furniture, which they requested us not to move. There was not even one single main outlet available without moving the furniture. The window view was splendid but I don't think the hotel was responsible for this. Then the breakfast. When we reached the restaurant in the morning the waiter looked bewildered when we asked for breakfast and even replied "no breakfast" once. The breakfast itself when it finally came was acceptable. With hindsight it would have been much easier for us if we stayed in Blansko centre and traveled in early morning for the caves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only ate here, we didn’t stay at the hotel. The food is typical Czech (lots of meat), good price and good service. I had a goats cheese wrapped in ham salad. Had to take the ham off (I’m vegetarian) and would have much preferred it without. But the salad was good.
This place gets very busy at lunchtime because it’s the only table service restaurant in the Macocha gorge area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slow and rude service. Staff never heard the word service before. After waiting over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant we were arrogantly asked if 'we will eat'. No 'hi' or 'sorry we let you wait'. That's always a bad sign. We decided to stay because of the location and we were starving. So we stopped minding the waitress who kept being rude to us the whole time and tried to enjoy the trout said to be the local specialty... And we couldn't as it was undercooked. We left promptly and we're never coming back. Not much else to say. Oh yeah, don't get fooled by high ratings as people mistakingly rate the local gorgeous caves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place in the middle of nature, walking distance to Macocha Abyss and caves with many trails throughout the woods. It is worth seeing and spending time, suitable for families, individuals, group trips, young and old. Accessible to strollers.
