Osada Kopaniny, část obce Rohozná u Jihlavy. Typická Vysočina. Daleko od městského ruchu, fantastický klid a pohoda. Malebné údolíčko pod vrchem Skála. Osadou prochází jediná komunikace spojující Rohoznou a Nový Rychnov (přes miniosadu Sedlíšťky) a na druhé straně Těšenov. Střed osady s kapličkou, ani ne 15 stavení. Starousedlici i rekreační chalupy. Je tu snaha o dodržení původní architektury, i když ta úplně původní jaksi vymizela. Procházka po osadě a jejím blízkém okolí je ten pravý balzám na duši. Zkuste si představit místo, kde je po většinu dne jen klid narušený sem tam štěkotem psa maximálně puštěnou sekačkou nebo cirkularkou. Možná zde na cestě potkáte i volně pobíhající drůbež. ??.... jó vysočina. Okolím jsou z větší části lesy, z vrchu Skála je krásný pohled do otevřené mírně vlnité krajiny. Asi nejbližším turistům známým místem je Čertův Hrádek.

Kopaniny settlement, part of Rohozná village near Jihlava. Typical Vysočina. Far from the city bustle, fantastic peace and quiet. A picturesque valley below the Skála hill. The only road connecting Rohozná and Nový Rychnov (via the Sedlíšťky mini-settlement) and Těšenov on the other side pass through the settlement. The center of the village with a chapel, not even 15 buildings. Old settlers and holiday cottages. There is an effort to keep the original architecture, even though the completely original one has somehow disappeared. A walk around the settlement and its vicinity is the real balm for the soul. Try to imagine a place where for most of the day there is only peace disturbed here and there by the barking of a dog with a maximally released mower or circular saw. You may also encounter free-range poultry on the way. ?? .... yes highlands. The surroundings are mostly forests, from the hill Skála there is a beautiful view of the open slightly undulating landscape. Probably the closest tourist destination is Čertův Hrádek.
