A	A S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eines meiner Liebsten Wanderziele in der Oberpfalz. Sehr gut erreichbar von der Silberhütte. Es sind kaum Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Der Weg ist gut ausgeschildert und bei jedem Wetter begehbar. Am Aussichtsturm findet man auch eine Schutzhütte vor. Vom Turm selbst hat man bei passender Sicht ein grandioses Panorama. One of my favorite hiking destinations in the Upper Palatinate. Easily accessible from the Silberhütte. There are hardly any vertical meters to overcome. The path is well signposted and can be walked in any weather. There is also a refuge at the observation tower. From the tower itself you have a magnificent panorama if the view is right.

Trasa vede úžasnou krajinou s minimálním zásahem civilizace, prostě uzasny zazitek? We started the journey to this amazing lookout tower in the old princely smelter where we cross the refreshment stop at the ski hut on the Golden Creek. The route leads through an amazing landscape with minimal civilization, just an amazing experience
L	Lenka Popová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásné místo, přístupné jak pěšky či na kole. Lepší přístupnost z německé strany, jedná se o cca 5 km procházku. Nechávali jsme auto v městečku Silberhutte, je dobré mít připravené euro na parkování. Beautiful place, accessible on foot or by bike. Better accessibility from the German side, it is about 5 km walk. We left the car in the town of Silberhutte, it is good to have the euro ready for parking.

Vom Parkplatz der Silberhütte sind es etwa 2,5 km bei nur leichter Steigung (nur das letzte Stock ist ein wenig steiler). In bequemen 30 Minuten erreicht man den spektakulären Aussichtsturm am Gipfel. Von der Plattform hat man einen grandiosen 360°- Blick in alle Richtungen - auch auf die Burgruine Flossenbürg. Zahlreiche Infotafeln auf den Zwischengeschossen des Turm informieren über Historisches, ganz oben gibt es einen Fotopoint. A great destination that can only be reached on foot. From the Silberhütte car park it is about 2.5 km with only a slight incline (only the last floor is a little steeper). In a comfortable 30 minutes you can reach the spectacular viewing tower at the summit. From the platform you have a magnificent 360° view in all directions - including the ruins of Flossenbürg Castle. Numerous information boards on the mezzanines of the tower provide historical information, and there is a photo point at the top.

M	Michael Ogden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can see for miles from the top of this tower. The steps are steel grids so if you do not like heights it may make you a bit nervous, but its worth it.
