★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to visit when visiting Sumava. The view is good but the restaurant is the reason to visit. Great chefs and really nice service. Food is delicious and the little restaurant has nice atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again.

The restaurant is amazing. Between us we tried everything, burgers, steak sandwich, salads, dessert and all was absolutely amazing. Great sized portions and not expensive. Good beer as well. The menu changes - check the board - but I would expect everything to be great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. 182 steps to the top of the tower. The pub at the base serves a very nice lunch and good beer (Bernard). To reach from the town of Susice, one can drive or take a lovely walk through the surrounding the forest. It is a short walk (about an hour) which can be steep in parts but the trail is well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice lookout tower above the town Sušice. You can climb up the hiking trail or drive up to the lookout by car. You can borrow a key at the checkout so you can open the windows at the top of the tower for a better view. Entrance fee is 50 czk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice hiking destination from Sušice, and thanks god meanwhile operates a reasonable restaurant to get adequately rewarded after your ascent (to Svatobor itself or to the tower attached to the hut). Nice view from terrace over Sumava, appropriate food, friendly and fast service - nice to be here...!
