The quality of the furniture here is at best mediocre, even though a little better then some other big box stores in the Czech Republic. We just recently bought some desks and a chair, all of which were needed to be used immediately. When we tried to assemble the chair we discovered that there was a factory defect in the backrest which wouldn't allow it to be attached to the armrests. In other words, useless! When tried to take it back but discovered the Sconto Nabytek hides behind the Czech Reclamation Law stating that companies have 30 days to fix the issue. Many stores now in the Czech Republic will replace something if you bring it back soon after purchase, or try to get it replaced for you, so the reason why such a large furniture store wouldn't do the same is bizarre. If you buy something at Ikea, they will replace it immediately, but not here. Now we have a pile of chair pieces, and no chair. Right now, we still have 28 days to wait to be able to sit down in our chair. Do yourself a favor, if you plan to buy something here. Buy something that is already assembled in their store and visibly not damaged, because you WILL WAIT for a replacement. Do yourself an even bigger favor, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM SCONTO!

The worst furniture store ever!!!! Table delivered with corner broken and I’m sure it’s not PPLs fault as nothing happened when they delivered items from IKEA. Delivery is longer than website states, no mail notification when it will come, support is useless. The worst part is when you put it together it breaks - color comes off, pooorest quality. Some wholes were done incorrectly and we couldn’t put it together without drilling new wholes but still it’s terrible as you can’t make wholes on side to tight screws!! Instruction is missing steps, legs turned out to be plastic and need to be screwed but no screws were in package for this! Don’t ever buy from Sconto!!!! I will never do it again, and not sure what to do with this table in couple years probably burn as no one would buy it from me!

Tried to order an office table. No stock availability options to view on their website, so it wasn't clear if they had any in or not. After completing the order they emailed me to say that they did not have any stock, so I didn't pay anything and asked for the order to be cancelled (because who wants to wait months for a table when you can buy one tomorrow from IKEA?). Communication from my side was in ENG & CZ, so no excuses for not understanding my requests. Instead of just canceling the order, Sconto continued to keep emailing me with invoices asking me to pay for stock (which they didn't even have in!). I kept repeating myself that I didn't want it anymore and of course didn't want to wait. The emails from sconto kept coming and I found myself getting very annoyed that they were not reading my responses to them. All of this could have been avoided by just clearly displaying stock inventory on their website!!! If you don't have stock in, don't fool the customer into thinking that you do and taking them to checkout. It's just super frustrating and terrible customer service. Instead of a sale, Sconto now have lost a potential customer for life...seems dramatic I know, but seriously who wants to deal with this level of annoying customer service? Not me thanks, I'll go somewhere else.

Well organized shop, in general a good experience. 2 negatives though, 1) closing at 19,so not much chance to get there with you having standard working hours. Other shops are closing at 20 or 21. 2) silent staff. Helpful, when you ask, but otherwise no proactivity, question if you need help, nothing.

I liked shopping there, easy to get in, find what you want or ask the kind employees to help you find what you want, pay and get out. I'm very happy and definitely recommend it

Order should have been delivered in 6 weeks but haven't been. Then they delivered a week later and said that one part is broken so we have to take it back. Made me wait whole Saturday at home for next delivery and haven't even called to say they will not deliver. I know that Asen Logistics is responsible for the delivery and not Sconto but Sconto should control their service provider. Horrible service.
