Looks like a very good museum but I didn't understand the majority of the information

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a big story to tell but it's not told very well. No written information in English. Some interesting exhibits but often not really put into any context. There are guns and vehicles outside but no useful information about them (apart from their weight) - not even which side used them. If they were used during the Opava-Ostrava campaign, some photos of them in action would make a real difference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice monument to visit if you are into historical artifacts. It finished construction in 1980. The outside monument is free to visit, when the weather is good you can setup a nice picnic there. There is a inside museum nearby for around 60-100 czk entrance fee, that shows more about the history of the museum and WWII. The only minus is the lack of variety in the food store on site.
