Ski Areál Kouty - Loučná nad Desnou 30

Nice place, free parking. The cableway seemed overpriced. It was quiet and calm, felt safe. I have the helia sport/active pass card from my local helia shop, but they refused to apply discount. Also I've been informed that card has to be exchanged for another card I could use for the discount. The second card is not for free, so where is the discount?

Cable car closes in summer earlier get there way before 4 PM, hire a scooter to ride down..

Nice sloaps, but CHS can do better surface :). Staff looks like rather tired in late February. D.

Challenging bikepark! You can improve your enduro skills on red trails! I'm sure I will come back here :)

Good ski arena for all ski funs

The big lift did not work, we could use it only once (and in that time we were stuck 20min in the air). Technical issues can happen of course, but what was very disappointing was that we got no refund :(.

Careful! The skinny ginger staff guy at the lift passes office keeps half of your deposit per pass. They do that with all foreign people they think they can get away with. No one claims to speak English so you can't even argue. The skiing is ok for beginners to intermediate.

Winter family holidays - we wanted to get the skipass for parents (1 day for 2 adults - for example one morning and one afternoon) because we have a small baby and I also bought a pass for 3x up and down on the chairlift (which should be valid for the season) to go to the top with the baby in the carrier to be able to meet up with the family in the bar on the top. When I got the passes, they weren’t marked which one was which. I returned to the till to check a the lady just looked at them and told me which one was which (based on her guess!!! Without checking in the machine). My husbands pass for skiing wasn’t working from the beginning but I managed to get to the top with the baby and my husband had to try to explain to every single ski lift person that his pass was not working. Going down to the till would have been a huge hassle and waste of time as it is so far away. Anyway, during the lunch, they managed to talk to the till lady and she said the passes were the other way round and they should be fine to use now. I didn’t use my pass to go to the top for a couple of day and today I loaded the baby in the carrier and went for a hike to the chairlift again to meet my family in the bar and to go for a little walk on the top as it was a nice day. When I finally managed to walk up to the chairlift with the baby and a backpack, my pass wouldn’t work!! I only used it once to go up and down and I was really confused what happened. I had to walk back down, tried to explain the situation to the lady at the tills and she just shrugged and said it wasn’t her fault and she can’t do anything about it. So I spent czk600 to go up and down once!!! Really not happy at all with this experience. Also the runs are not kept during the day and every afternoon they are just awful - lots of icy patches and random mountains of snow. The prices are not low and I would expect better than this.
