Ski areál Monínec

The area is designed for families with smaller children. The school with a fox is great, the slopes are rather easy. Overall, however, I must say that the care of the area consists in trying to turn as many customers as possible. Snow cannons don't turn on much, either, so if it's not natural snow, then nothing much. Prices in restaurants at the level of Prague, so rather more expensive. Nice parking, free or in the price of a passport.

I do not recommend visiting this area, especially with regard to dealing with customers and violating government measures against the spread of covid. When I left the premises, the employee refused to return the deposit of CZK 100 for the ski passes, stating that I allegedly damaged it, which was not true. At the same time, she told me that she could not give me a damaged ski pass when buying, because they issue a new one to each customer and she cannot return CZK 100 to me because it will not "go through the system". I tried to solve the whole thing with the management, which first wanted to send me photos. When I did, they figured out that I should send it to them physically, and if the card would go "upload for another tariff" (although the cashier told me that they no longer use the cards and would give everyone a new one), then my money will return. This is their approach to customers in 2022. Nobody checked the covid passport when buying a ski pass or in the restaurant. My friend and I were probably the only ones in the restaurant who had a respirator while waiting at the buffet. Neither the staff at the buffet serving food nor the cashier at the cash register had a respirator. Thus, at least on Sunday, there was a completely flagrant violation of government measures against the spread of covid. In a situation of record numbers infected completely ruthless conduct.
