★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local winter ski / snowboard slope. Unusually it is situated on a South facing slope. Which means it gets direct sunlight during the day and that means it is generally warmer than the surrounding area. Well maintained and the tow lift is smooth and easy for even beginners. Well stocked and maintained local 'pension' (bed and breakfast) type accommodation is available with bar / restaurant. Staff are friendly and both staff and locals have a wide range of English. Great place to teach kids / adults the basics of skiing and snowboarding, with just enough to keep intermediate or advanced levels interested in quiet surroundings. Over all I would recommend it to anyone. It's still going and still getting better!!!!
