★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castle and park are very beautiful, amazing views over the fountain towards the castle. Dogs not allowed. Lot of events to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place for afternoon walk. The park is opened all year, so you can see how the trees and surroundings change during the year. There is a small good academy in the park, so beware of flying balls. The park is adjoining golf course, so you can prolong your walk there. In regular times, there is nice castle restaurant opened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice country palace but overshadowed by the nearby peace monument and greater palaces like Lednice not too far away, but surely worth a two hour visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The former name of the city and castle is Austerlitz where the "battle of three emperors" happened. It's a nice looking castle in baroque style. The tour on historic halls was great - the guide was really nice and I liked the story very much. My family and I were lucky to have a tour only for us - no other people appeared. Also the garden is a pleasant place to walk after or before a tour inside the castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not wheelchair accessible, lots of stairs throughout. Also try not to go on a Saturday as they say they almost always have weddings there and the chapel is off limits if that's the case.
Also, if you need an English or non-Czech language tour, you must book in advance and it's double admission for it. You can only see the rooms inside with a tour. Otherwise standard admission is for Czech language tour but you can borrow a booklet in your own language to follow along. It's about an hour long. Also, be advised you have to put the slippers they provide over your shoes to protect the original wood flooring.
Unfortunately, there was an outside event going on when we were there that prevented access to the gardens.
